Range cookers can make a beautiful addition to any kitchen. They don’t just have to be used in a traditional country kitchen – they can look great in all kitchen styles, as long as you make your selection carefully.
Range cookers take up a lot of room, so they are probably best suited to larger kitchens in houses rather than flats. Make sure you double check all of the measurements as this type of stove will have oven doors that open outwards, meaning that they can be more difficult to fit into a kitchen configuration.
Think about where you are going to position the range cooker within the kitchen. It will need to be close to an extractor fan, even if it is positioned in the middle of the room, otherwise your kitchen could become damaged by grease and moisture. Think about the colours you want and whether you will choose tiles, a splashback, or both to go with it.
